Pathway to Pipeline Readiness
TransCanada’s Pathways to Pipeline Readiness Program in northern British Columbia is focused on helping to build northern British Columbia’s skilled labour force and aims to enhance workers’ transferable skills. Investments in regional partnerships with existing skills training and education organizations across northern British Columbia is how we contribute to building a strong local work force. The partnerships include funding for program development, equipment purchases, classroom training for participants and bursaries that align with natural gas pipeline construction and operation.
For more information on these partnerships please see the following: TransCanada’s Skills Training and Education Program in B.C.
PRGT’s prime contractors will work with indigenous owned companies to clear construction camp locations and the pipeline right-of-way. These contracts are worth more than $800 million.
